Exciting News at Plymouth Crossroads as we enter into our Seventh Year!
Plymouth Crossroads received a $1,000 grant from the Junior League of Buffalo! With this grant we will be putting in place a brand new health program at Plymouth that will focus on sexual health, safety, and promoting healthy relationships among our youth.
The grant will be used to put in place the All 4 You program to reduce risk of STIs and pregnancy in teens. The All 4 You program was designed for teens in alternative education settings. Providing education on health topics is part of Plymouth Crossroads' mission to help our youth reach their full potential and grow into healthy and successful independent adults.

We have also just received funding from the Patrick Lee Foundation in the amount of $23,000! With this funding, Plymouth Crossroads has decided upon three distinct project components that, with this funding, we will together be able to enhance our youth’s ability to reconnect with their families, complete their education, secure employment, and receive ongoing support to meet their individual needs.
This funding will secure an AmeriCorps member for one year who assists the agency with outreach and community awareness, while increasing our visibility to the youth who need us most; an additional part-time social worker, who will supplement other case management and educational services provided by the agency, with specific focus on helping youth address issues that may facilitate reuniting with their families or improve their quality of life while residing at Plymouth Crossroads; and finally transportation, a critical component to the provision of youth services which includes gas, insurance and maintenance for the agency’s van and bus passes for youth, to enable them to travel to and from school and work.
The mission of Plymouth Crossroads is to provide safe shelter and empower young men to develop independent, healthy paths to their future by offering them the tools they need to be self supportive and avoid long-term dependency on social services, and with the help of funding such as this, our mission continues to stay right on track.
